  Text warping question

  I need some advice on how to get this text to do this – I’m having to recreate this logo in vector form and I’ve tried all of my tricks, short of just tracing out each individual letter. I’m using CS5

  Hmmm.
  One way to achieve this might be to apply a gradient mesh to your text, and warp it that way.

  A trick will be achieving the sharp angle at the center.
  For that, you might have to outline your type, cut it vertically down the center, then do two warping operations. One for each side.

  In your version, put some time into making sure your warp accurately follows the contour of the scroll. It looks a little sloppy in the example, and I want you folks to have a nice logo. I don’t know what you folks do, but it sounds important ☺
