  Export Issue

  Hi!
  I’m using adobe illustrator for the first time, I’m having trouble exporting the artwork as jpeg or using the .ai file in after effects. When I try to export it, it initially showed me this error “artwork missing” but after a while it does export it, but only the background layer not the actual artwork I’ve created. Same goes when I’m using the .ai file in after effects, only the background layer shows not the actual vector I’ve created.

  You have accidentally turned the layer into a template layer. You can fix that under the layer menu>layer options.
