Ghost font
I opened a file someone else had created long ago and it tells me:
“”
Optima: Font not found on the system; missing font has been substituted.
“”
It does not say what substitution font was used.As luck would have it, in this file I actually like the substitution font better than Optima.
When I select some type and pull down the Font/Type menu I see a checkmark next to:
^Optima•^ (it’s actually surrounded with angle brackets, but this forum doesn’t allow those…)
with no TrueType or other symbol preceding it like other fonts have.
So what font is being used? How do I make use of it so I’m no longer told it’s been substituted.
Thanks,
