Everytime I start a new project I get these green safe lines, and I don’t know how to get rid of them.
They look like this.

Neither do I! haha. And I make TV graphics for a living but don’t want Title Safe on screen at all times.
The Illustrator help site is giving me a “forbidden” code at the moment, i’ll post the answer as soon as thats working again.

There are plenty of people scripting and hacking to make a shortcut for this but you can go to
Document Setups/ Artboards/
Then click on the three icons in the top menu to show/hide your safe areas and crosshairs.
