  distributing objects

  How can I distribute objects of different sizes in illustrator?

  when I use the tool, align, receives different distances relative to the object. And I’d like to space was the same.

  Distribution uses the objects’ center points. If you have a really large number of objects to distribute, you can try using distribute top or bottom edge, but I think you’ll still wind up having to manually change the distance for a few of the objects.
