  Layered PDF

  Hi. Does anyone know how to open a layered PDF-file in Illustrator, with the layers preserved?? I am using Auto-CAD to create a PDF with layers (vector-based graphics), and its really frustrating not being able to work with the same layers in Illustrator, for coloring etc.

  Any help appreciated!

  Maybe check “Preserve Illustrator Editing Capabilities” when making the PDF.
