  aepx file no longer opening, was working fine last time I opened it

  A file that up until yesterday was working fine, is no longer opening, instead I’m getting the dreaded error

  internal verification failure (Unexpected match name searched for in group)

  I already tried opening a new file and importing the offending one into it, I get the same error.
  I opened an auto-save version, It opened but as soon as I click on one comp I get the error again.

  Can anyone help me open this file or at least recover it somehow? I need to send it over and now it’s completely unusable.
