  Using a CMYK logo in Video?

  Hi all!
  I hope I’m in the right forum for this, my appologies if not.
  But I guess that you guys would be the right people to ask.

  I recieve a lot of logos from companys that is going to be added in my video project and since the logos are CMYK, the colours don’t look right on video.
  Is there a “formula” for making it look consitent back and fourth so to speak?
  Just converting it to RGB in Illustrator doesn’t seem to do the trick.

  I always paste CMYK components into RGB Photoshop files, when I need RGB files. I’m not sure if this will address your issue, but it’s worth a shot.

  You might also need to set the clip’s field options to Deflicker, in Premiere, if your program will be displayed on CRT.

  If you need Broadcast Legal colors, I’d just try using the Broadcast Color filter, once you are in Premiere.

  As far as going in the opposite direction, from RGB to CMYK, I’m not sure if there’s a reliable way to automatically do that conversion.

  Just some thoughts.
