  Illustrator is taking too long to place image!

  Hi there!

  I’m experiencing a problem with Illustrator CS3 on a snow leopard, 10.6.4 mac. Illustrator takes way too long to place images,especially psd ones… Most of my images though are not that big…
  I’m wondering what’s wrong, since it just started doing that the past few weeks!

  I would appreciate your help!

  Try preferences >> performance >> enable Open GL Drawing (ON)

  Also check to see how much space you have left on your hard drive, and run from your applications/utilities/Disk utility.
