    Hello,
I have made a few paths for an eye, a path for the pupil, iris, inner of eyelids, outer etc. Now I want a type of shadow or flare over it go give it style.
I tried using the pathfinder intersect tool, but that is valid only between pairs of path objects. So I made copies of the flare path and the path objects to intersect with to result in a set of flare components to overlay and then manipulate. The problem with this is that there are then many path objects which looks not elegant afterwards. Is there a better solution?
Should I just Have the single flare object placed over the maximum perimeter of the eye and use layer blending options between those layers below?
    Thanks,

Hold down the rectangle tool, and choose the flare tool at the bottom.
