I am creating a booth graphic in Illustrator CS3. I have “lit” a lightbulb in the scene by using a vector circle at 65% Overlay transparency with a gradient from white to black in it. This is all on a black background and I can see where the gradient ends on the background even though the gradient in the circle is completely black on the edges. This does not show up on my screen but when it is printed it is more than slightly obvious. Is there a way I can make the the gradient ONLY effect the lightbulb underneath with out disturbing the background images? All thoughts are welcome thank you ahead of time…

P.S. I am also trying to Illuminate our logo with out affecting the background as well. Thank you again
