When I type the keys to give me the heart, club spade or diamond in illustrator cs3 I just get a box. It also doesn’t work in photoshop cs3. There is no problem in Quark. I’m tired of working around this.

    Hi,
have you tried selecting your glyphs (heart etc.) through the “Glyph Panel”?
Go to the menu: TYPE….GLYPH… then insert your cursor and double click the glyph (heart) that you want.
    hope that helps,
    cheers,
    Adi

    Adolph,

    Thank you so much.

The glyph panel worked in illustrator and in quark. I was not familiar with it.

    Thank You

    Sam
