Activity Forums Adobe Illustrator 3D lines

I am trying to find out how to use illustrator to create a series of lines that come out from the distance curve around flow into the distance again and curve and move back towards the foreground. I want to use illustrator because I am going to animate these lines in After Effects and I want them to be continuously rastered. Does anyone have an example of what I am talking about?
