  Pixels to Vector?

  I started with a jpeg outlined map of the US states. I selected all the outlines, copied and pasted them onto a transparent background. Now it looks like a wire-frame of the states. Is there a way to convert this into a vector using PS and Illustrator?

  You can get a very nice vecgtor file of the US for about 5 bucks over at istockphoto
