illustrator in after effects
Hi guys,
probably a really stupid question, but need to ask- I have a couple illustrator (.ai) files that have layers that seemed to be grouped (and subgrouped and so forth) under layer 1. How can I import this into after effects as a comp with all the elements as individual layers? Trying it the basic way just gives me Layer 1 as a flattened image. If I can save it as a layed eps or psd file, how exactly do I do that? Anyhelp woul be great. Thanks!
