  • deleting box around traced image.

OK, so I take an image into Photoshop and trace it with the lasso tool. I then select all and inverse it, I hit delete to end up with my traced image only. I Save for Web as a PNG to preserve my transparent background. I then open the PNG in illustrator and use the live trace option. Once I’ve done this, it traces a box around the image. If I use the paint bucket or use any of the color palettes to color the images, it colors(fills) this existing box. Can some one PLEASE! tell me how I can get rid of this box around everything that I import into illustrator? How can I preserve the image’s transparency?
