  • change paths with stroke to a solid shape with no stroke but same thickness?

I know that subject line is a little bit of a rambling thought, but… I have created some text in Illustrator and converted it to outlines. I needed the text to be thicker looking so I put a stroke on the outlines. Is there a way to change the appearance from stroked to fill only while maintaining the same look?

I think you’ll get the look you want if you also fill it with the same color that you’ve stroked it with.
