  Help! Path > Outline Stroke = not enough RAM??

  I have a path of Africa, Europe and Asia- pretty big. I want to make an “outline stroke” of it.

  Every time I attempt to do this, Illustrator will pop up this message immediatley: “The operation cannot complete because there isn’t enough memory (RAM) available.”

  I am on a PowerBook G4 with 2GB of RAM. I am using After Effects 10 . with OSX 10.4.4

  Can anyone help?

  Could “split long paths” be an option?
