  Cut forms!!

  Hi.
  I have a little problem in illustrator because I want to cut all the forms that intersect with a rectangle and I don’t know how to do this simple operation.
  I’ve tried with scissors but I could only cut paths and not forms and with knife I’m not straight with the line.
  Is this possible in illustrator or is there any plugin that do this operation?

  I’ve search trim, cut, mask but nothing related….. any help?

  I’ve finally found a plugin called Cadtools (https://www.hotdoor.com/) that trim a segment till it meets a form that intersecate it.
  Is there something similar included in Illustrator or I have to buy a 250$ plugin ?

  Try using the Pathfinder options, found in the Windows menu.
