    Greetings!
I took the logo from my fire department and made the white background transparent, using Photoshop CC, following this tutorial:
Photoshop CC / 14.1 : Replace white background with transparent background

Now, when I load the image into Adobe After Effects, it appears against the dark background with bits of white around various edges. How do I ensure that all the edges are black and that black & red are the only visible colors in this “png” file?

    My image:

Try make an selection using ‘Select > Color Range’, and then use ‘Refine Edge’ that can be found in any of the selection tools, and there’s and option for shifting the edge. Adjust the knob until you get the desired results.
