  CS5 background workspace on a MAC

  Hi,
  Can someone advise about this:

  I just switched from a PC to Mac. I have Photoshop CS5 on my Mac. On my PC I could work in photoshop and the program had a constant “background” for lack of a better tem. When I work on my Mac in photoshop my desktop is the background. As a result, if I click anywhere outside of the photo or outside the tool pallet, for example, the program goes inactive and I have to re-click the PS icon to get back to my workspace. How do I change this preference?

  I would really appreciate any tips as I am very frustrated!

  switch to fullscreen mode with menubar from toolbar
