  • way to toggle layer on & off in mid Transform manipulation?

Posted by Paul Dougherty on March 31, 2011 at 4:07 pm

I’m trying line up or register a bunch of images (for animation). I’m doing it in PS (CS2) comp and using the Transform feature (I’m rotating along with repo). While in mid-transform manipulation (haven’t “enter” yet) is it possible to toggle the layer I’m working with on & off? (doing it in the layer window seems locked out)

As you might guess I’ve set the opacity to 60% or so percent on the new or top image I’m working with as an onion skin technique.

Thanks in advance for any help,

    Paul

As of cs5 there’s no way to do that, but your method is pretty good. CS5 (and cs4 I believe) lets you vary the opacity while in transform mode.
