Activity Forums Adobe Photoshop Shiny face: tools

    Trying to touch up a portrait shot w/some shiny spots/highlights on the face.

    I’d prefer to use adjustment tools, I think they’re more subtle, but am open to other ideas too.

    So, what’s the best combo of Tools and Adjustments to tackle this problem?

    I’d duplicate the layer and give it some diffusive glow. After that you can just mask out the parts you don’t want and make some subtle changes in the glow intensity.

    I’m not really sure what it is you want to do here. Could you maybe post an example of the desired effect along with the picture you want to apply it to?

    Try Photoshop’s Shadow/Highlight under Adjustments in the Image menu.
