    Hi,

I’m a complete photoshop newbie, so please pardon my ignorance. I have a movie poster that I wanted to get printed out. My friend advised me 2 things:

    1. Uprez the image to 300dpi.
    2. Convert image from RGB to CMYK.

#1 is easy. #2 seems a bit complicated. Here is a screenshot of my color settings:

I also went to Image>Mode>CMYK color is checked. Is this correct?

    Any info much appreciated!

If CYMK is checked, than your already in CYMK mode.

Also, upsizing to 300ppi is not the same as creating it in 300ppi to begin with. You should always attempt to create your art in the correct resolution.
