  3D edge on book covers

  I am often given flat jpegs of book covers and would like a quick way of making the right and bottom edge appear to be extruded, like a typical paperback with slight perspective and shadow. I was surprised that the “extrude” function doesn’t seem to do the trick.
  I was hoping to create a style that I could share with other artists in my work group for consistent results without illustrating each file. I’m using CS on a Mac. Any noble ideas or cheap tricks?
