  Embedded File Mismatch

  Whenever I open a file in Photoshop a dialog box comes up labeled “embedded file mismatch” asking me if I want to 1. Use the embedded profile 2. convert file to workspace, or 3. Discard embedded profile. Whichever one of these I do the image seems to display darker in Photoshop than it does in Windows. What is happening and what should I do so I am not prompted and the graphic just appears as is?
