  TARGA from AE with transparent background

  I’m having an issue that I’m sure there is a quick solution to but I cannot find the answer.

  I’m saving a cutout image of a person that I applied an AE plugin effect to as a single frame TARGA from After Effects that I want to bring into Photoshop with transparency.

  When I bring it into photoshop CC 2014 it has a black background. I am not as proficient with photoshop as AE, I can double click on the image and open it up by itself and then remove the transparency, but it my main photoshop project it still has a black background. How do I remove the black background of the Targa?

  In AE, save comp as Photoshop layers.
