  Photoshop CS6 Plugin

  I am wondering if there a plugin or hack that would allow you to change the color of the selection line of the marquee tool to say green or red or blue etc.. I frequently run into a situation where I am working on a selection and the thin black line disappears into a high contrast image and it becomes really difficult to see and manipulate?

  I can’t believe I am the only one out there that has had this problem.

  Unfortunately there aren’t any available plug-ins to change the color of the marquee tool. However, you do have options to make this part of the process easier.

  You could make a new layer, solid color, low opacity. In this way you can maintain contrast without editing the source image. Just make sure the proper layer is selected when trying to edit your marquee’d area.
