  removing background from behind glass

  WOO first post 🙂

  anyway… I would like to replace the background from a photo like this https://s3.amazonaws.com/bonanzleimages/afu/images/9055/9795/Hurricane_Lamp_Shade_Clear_Milk_Bottle_Flared_8.5_x_3_inch_002.jpg
  where there is a glass object in front of a gradiat-ing background. So how should go about doing this?

  Best bet is to use a combination of smear and the rubber stamp tool on a new layer (sample layers below). It’s tedious and time consuming, but it does the trick. In the future, try shooting the photo on a plain, white or black background.
