  lighting effects in CS6 not rendering for the whole photo

  I am trying to add lighting effects with Render>Lighting Effects and when I am adjusting my lighting, everything looks good, but when I go to apply the effects, it stops abruptly at the right edge of my photo, leaving a line where the effects stops and it is just the regular photo without the effect.

  I read one forum that said the image could be too big, when I make the image smaller, it solves the problem and renders for the whole image, but I need to keep the high quality image with the lighting filter because I am bringing it into an HD video. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

  I don’t know what computer information is relevant, but I am on a mac with a 3.4 Ghz intel core and 16 GB of memory.
