  • Making a bigger wheelie!

    Hi all,

We are recreating an image of a biker pulling a wheelie with an actor, who for health and safety reasons couldn’t pull one for real!

The problem is, the wheelie we photographed wasn’t big enough! With the bike up on the stand in the studio it looked about right, but having cropped it, it’s clearly not high enough.

We need somehow to make the front wheel feel much higher – I would imagine by distorting the image, but without affecting the rest of the picture.

Any advice on what tool(s) might be best for this one? Sadly, we don’t have access to the old reshoot filter on this occasion.

    Cheers,

    D

Can you post a small sample pic?

Cheers, but we ended up finding a fix – none of the distort tools were working but fortunately we were able to cut a couple of inches off the front forks and push the front wheel up closer to the bike’s handlebars. Voila, a nice big wheelie!
