  Recording a Photoshop Animated Brush?

  Hi CC,

  I’m creating an animation in Photoshop because I like the brush options in Photoshop much more for what I’m doing than after effects. I’m doing sort of a shadow creeping effect.

  There’s this one brush I have that simply the way it animates on is utterly brilliant. Is there a way currently in Photoshop to somehow record the brush animation as it brushes on?

  Like, for instance the grass brush that comes with Photoshop as you brush grass blades appear.

  Is there any way to capture that as it happens? I’d love to take that and composite it into a timeline.

  Any advice appreciated. Thanks!
