  Alpha Channel in FCP. Desperate!

  I create graphics with alpha channels on a regular basis and give it to our video editor to place in videos. Mostly lower thirds and little bugs. I have never had a problem before, but all of a sudden the Alpha channel isn’t showing up for him. I have gone back and watched Richard Harrington’s tutorial on saving alpha for video, but everything seems to be exactly as he is doing it and the same way I have done it for over a year.

  When I open the tifs in Photoshop, I see the transparency, but I notice when I view them in the finder window, the transparency doesn’t show. In previous files I have done like this, it does.

  Any thoughts on mistakes I can be making?

  I have checked:
  File is in RGB
  Alpha Channels saved
  Save Transparency unchecked

  I have even tried saving as a tga and as a png and those haven’t worked for him either.

  Thoughts?
