  Converting Layered Photoshop file in a vector image using Illustrator

  Hi, I designed a logo in Photoshop that uses layer effects and paths. I wanted to take my finished work in photoshop can convert it to a vector image. How is this possible? I have read on other forums about using live trace? I am a newbie when it comes to Illustrator so any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank You
