  Surface blur not working

  I just tried different blur under filter, surface blurs etc none of them are working. In the surface blur dialog box with the preview checked I see a sample of the changes but when i click on ok nothing happens no changes are made. What do i need to check on make changes in performance something else?

  It should work the same way a gaussian blur works. Nothing special to do. Try again in a new document.

  i did a reboot and it worked thanks anyway.
