  Photoshop CS5 Eyedroppers not working in levels adjustment

  I just completed a new installation of Photoshop CS5 Extended on a new Computer running Windows Vista Home Preminum.

  The problem that I’m experiencing is that the eyedropper tool in both the levels and curve adjusment has no effect on the image. It works as it should in the 64 Bit Photoshop CS5, but I really need it to run in both installations becasue I have plug-ins that are not compatiabile with the 64 bit.

  I’ve checked all of the obvious such as ensuring that the “preview” box is checked, making sure I have the correct layer selected, etc. I’ve also searched on line in the various photography forums, and I encountered one other indvidual who expereinced this, but a resloution wasn’t listed in the forum thread.

  Anyone have any suggestions or a solutions for this?
