    I just finished some tutorials on PShop’s 3D tools, and it got me wondering. Is it just me, or are those 3D capabilities the most useless crap you’ve ever seen in your life?

    Curious.

    There are some very good uses for them…

    But they are really meant to be used to touch up existing models. I find the AE Integration good and useful for certain tasks like broadcast graphics

    i find the tools way to convoluted and with hours of work all you can hope for is mediocre results.
    deke has like a 40 hour photoshop 3d course and the end result is stuff you could learn in 20 minutes of c4d.
