  movie paint

  I have a video clip about 1:49 or 3240 frames long which has a colored rectangle entering frame from L to R. There are captions written on the rectangle. I need to change those captions. In Photoshop CS5 I can load the clip 500 frames at a time and paint out the old captions on a new layer but this causes a couple of problems. Because the captions move from frame to frame, the pain strokes don’t follow the movement. And I don’t want to have to paint out the captions manually on over 3000 frames! My hunch is that there is some way to do this which is more efficient, but I’m not sufficiently savvy in PS to figure it out. Any ideas?

  Paint to new layer
