  Photoshop locks up

  I’m running PS 7 on an older mac G4 and it has always performed just fine. All of a sudden, when I try to save a project whether as a pdf, psd, etc, the application locks up. It has never done this in 6 years.

  I can save a psd file if it was initially composed before all this started happening. But I cannot save it as anything else.

  Should I trash PS Prefs within OS 10? I’ve always been told this wasn’t required with Photoshop.
