    Hi,

How would I be able to take an existing still image or graphic and paste it onto a piece of video?

I would like to take a simple graphic and paste it onto the back of a helmet [worn by someone on DV]? I can see that pasting something onto a curved surface would require a fair bit of manipulating to get it to look “natural” and as though its always been there.

Can anyone suggest a good place to start learning this technique?

While Photoshop could certainly create the graphic, to add it to the video would really require an application like After Effects. AE would allow you to transform & animate the graphic so that it moved with the helmet in the video, making it look natural
