  selected brush size appears bigger than actual stroke width

  Hey guys,

  I dont know why PS is doing this but when I select the eraser tool, the circular area represented as the cursor is not actually the size it erases when clicked. Sorry for misleading subject title, it’s happened to my brush before I think but it seems to be fine atm. It’s just the eraser thats displaying a larger area than it actually is.

  Any ideas on how to make this circular cursor actually represent the area it will be erasing (also how to fix this for brush size represented vs. actual area…for future pref)

  Do you have HARDNESS set to 100%?

  In preferences, you have several options on how brush preview behaves. Experiment and find one that works for the way you think.
