  CS4 – How Many Machines?

  Simple question. Sorry if it’s been discussed before. I am going to upgrade to CS4. How many computers can I install it on?

  That depends on the licence you have….

  Generally the standard license covers two installations.

  You’re technically not supposed to use them at the same time though… the idea is that you’d have one installation at home and one at work, or one on your desktop and one on your laptop.

  Volume/extended licensing is a whole different ballgame; I don’t know the details on that.
