    I wonder if some kind person could do me a favour.

    I’m running CS4 on a new Vista64 machine and have just tried to create an action that converts video frames captured as *.bmp, deinterlaces them and saves a copy as jpeg into another folder.

    All works as it should except the ‘save as’. They save as bmps again.

    The ‘save as’ dialogue in the actions palette list the jpeg and parameters correctly but it doesn’t do it.

    Make action with just deinterlace

    Then use Image Processor Script (File > Scripts)

    JPEGs are pretty terrible to convert to.
