    Hello,

I am trying to import a Canopus HQ .avi file into Photoshop and I am only getting a white screen.

The animation timeline shows the length of the clip, but the preview shows only white.

    Any ideas?

I am on a PC with an ATI 4850 video card.

My hope is to run a noise reduction pass over my video file and export back to my NLE (Edius).

    Thanks!

Load the correct Codec on your system

    Hello Richard,

I use Edius so the Canopus HQ codec is on my system.

    After Effects sees it.

Do you know how/if I can show Photoshop where it is?

Since Photoshop utilizes QuickTime for video import/render you need to make sure any codecs that are required are installed for QuickTime. If QuickTime can open any play the video Photoshop should be able to as well.
