  Photoshop CS4 Glitches in canvas – Creates static color noise

  I tried looking this up – but can’t really focus on what the issue would be.

  I just opened CS4 for the first time on my machine (legal copy of course) and when I created a new 1024×768 document and stretched the canvas out to make the screen bigger – I got weird glitches of color “noise” all over the place. They seem static and dont change if I stretch it more.

  Anyone have any suggestions or ideas?

  Computer setup:
  Mac Pro 8-core
  6gb RAM
  Nvidia 8800GT 512mb Graphics Card
  Production Suite CS4

  I have the same problem. I have updated all of the systems for CS4 Photoshop and still i get static and noise over my whole canvas when I try to use a selection or drawing tool.

  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
