I’m trying to learn scripting as I would like to export JPEGS progressively – i.e., first Layer 0, then Layer 0 + Layer 1, then 0 + 1 + 2, and so on to the top of the file.

Obviously if someone can help me with that script I’d be grateful.

In the meantime, though, I can’t even run the sample scripts that install with CS2 (on a Mac). The files are in the Presets>Scripts folder with .jsx extensions but they are grayed out when I try to run them. I have downloaded a couple of .js files from the internet and they seem to run fine.

Is it something simple I’m missing? Thanks in advance.

I noticed it also wasn’t opening Bridge when I used the File>Browse so I reinstalled Photoshop. Working now. I will repost my other question.
