  save for web shows only jpg when saving file

  Hi,

  For some reason save for web in PhotoshopCS now only saves as jpg format, even though i have selected gif and it shows the gif settings, and when i go to save it only shows jpg format. Any thoughts?

  Are you able to SAVE AS to a gif?

  Next reset your phtohsop preferences by immediately after booting photoshop holding down Shift/Ctrl/Alt and saying yes to the alert for resetting preferences.
