I am okay at PS but still have some roadblocks. I have some text that I need to bend along a shape. Need the quick explanation. I think that I need to select the layer with the text add create path…but then what?

    Thanks

    Bob,

You can create a path with the pen tool (make sure you’re on create a path, and not the create a shape selection)

Make your curvy line, circle, box, whatever you want.

    Select the Type tool.

Once the cursor comes close to the path, your I-beam cursor will have an angled line underneath. Click once and you will note the blinking cursor on your path. Start typing and your text will follow the path!

If you have a shape you want the text to follow, you can trace it with a path and then apply the text to that path. (the path won’t be visible in your final photo).

    Hope that helps,
    Jacob
