  Monitor Calibration makes everything look bad

  I recently calibrated my primary monitor (an HP CRT) using a Spyder2 calibration tool.

  The result is that all of my photographs in Photoshop CS lookterrible — over-saturated, dark, off-hue, etc. I am using the Adobe RGB working space.

  Any thoughts on what I can do to bring my photos back looking normal?

  (Using a PowerMac G5 with CS.)
