Hi, i often have a folder with say 100 pics that I want to collect as layers in 1 psd document. Does anyone know how to automate this, so i don\t have to open&select all&copy&paste&close 100 times

    Best regards,
    wtk

You can do this by recording an action. Your action needs to include:
    select all
    copy
    close
    paste

After you recorded your action create a new file to paste to, and use batch to run your action on a slected folder of input images.

Works perfect. Items do paste in center though, so works best with images of the same pixel dimensions.

I’ll often just import into AE

Add all to a new comp

Choose Composition > Save as PSD layers
